Concept & Design

TRC in-house design team provides full project design services.  We utilize the most advanced design programs in the industry to deliver scaled and multi-dimensional designs for our customers, bringing their project to life.  Our team excels at unique and difficult projects, and delivers award winning results.

Delivering the Concept (a step by step process)

  • Step 1 – Onsite Meeting
    • The first step for any successful project is an onsite meeting.  Our team is there to listen and understand what a client’s vision is for their specific project and space.
  • Step 2 – Layout
    • Next, a key component to the design process is a proper layout.  At this stage we’re not concerned with materials and finishes. Instead, we’re only concerned with delivering the best and most functional layout.
  • Step 3 – Baseline Budget
    • Once the layout is determined, TRC moves forward with providing a base budget for the project.  This will help in determining material selection.
  • Step 4 – Material Selections
    • At this stage, we welcome you to our showroom in Chesterfield to review your design and make material selections. We’re the only contractor in St Louis that has a full-service design center that not only displays materials, but also is a direct dealer, making the process seamless.
  • Final review and estimate
    • Once everything is updated with your selected materials, we have a final meeting to review the final layout and the final budget for the project.  TRC takes pride in accurate estimating, over 99% of our projects come in on time and on budget.
